You will get to learn lots of laboratory techniques that are highly valued in the research environment.

Every year, our projects give rise to research works that are published in high impact journals and you can be a part of it!
Awards

If you are in team roster of 15 students, you can get official medal certificates and nominations from iGEM.

If you were not chosen for the final team roster, but still were part of the team until the end, then NU president Mr. Shigeo Katsu will award you with honor certificate.
Teamwork

You’ll learn how to work efficiently in a team by doing lab experiments together and making presentations to show your ideas and findings.
Community

iGEM is a family. You can ask the elder iGEM team members, advisers about anything you want. You can ask things like: how to get cool internships, how did you approach *insert course name* course
Networking

You’ll get to contact with other iGEM teams around the world and ask them a bunch of questions that you are interested be it about their university or life in the country.
